This book addresses the demands of our changing times in research methodology learning processes, it is widely acknowledged that research is increasingly one of the essential skill in knowledge generation, acquisition and transfer in business activity that offer the potential to transform societies. This book, therefore examines existing research methodology learning methods and integrates it into a more practical subject thereby helping researchers particularly academic researchers identify, carryout and realize beneficial research in their realm of learning. It is organized in five parts, the introduction part focuses on the description of basic concepts in research methodology, the second part discusses the initial steps in research proposal process followed by literature review, research methodology and finally data analysis and presentation methods. The book provides some examples of the statistical analysis output and its interpretation. Examples of key issues to be articulated in a research proposal are discussed toward the end and a sample of a research proposal format is included as an appendices. About the AuthorsAnthony Muriungi Mugambi, is a faculty staff and a lecturer in the School of Business and Economics at Meru University of Science and Technology Kenya, has research experience in corporate governance and international business and the author of (i) A Practical Guide to Academic Writing, February, 2020 by kindle publishing and (ii) Foreign Market Entry Strategies adopted by Foreign Firms in Kenya’s EPZ July 2012 published by Lambert Academic Publishing. He is a mentor of finance, accounting and business students undertaking research at the school. Dr. Robert Muriungi Gitunga, is a faculty staff and a lecturer at the School of Pure and Applied Sciences at Meru University of Science and Technology and teaches statistics and quantitative methods. He has extensive research experience in Biostatistics and mentors post graduate students undertaking research at the school.
